I love designing hats, especially when you get to collaborate with another lovely fibre business!

Harriet of Wild Wood Stitches creates stunning handmade project bags in the cosy hills above Loch Ness in Scotland. Imagine my excitement when Harriet proposed a collaboration for her Christmas Bag Kits!

The challenge; create a hat pattern inspired by her carefully chosen fabrics. Creative freedom? Count me in! And if I felt the itch for something whimsical, why not throw in contrasting bobbles and brim? Music to my woolly heart!

The result? A pattern that's a true labour of love, and a testament to the amazing artists I meet along my making journey.
